Doctor Bio

Dr. Kathiresan's objective are to provide her patients with personalized care and to assist them in making the best treatment choice for their specific requirements. She was born and raised in Marietta, Georgia. Dr. Kathiresan graduated from Cornell University with a Bachelor of Arts degree. She subsequently went to Georgia to complete her medical education at the Medical College of Georgia. She was active in health disparities advocacy while at MCG, earning her the American Medical Association's national leadership award. She went on to complete her Obstetrics and Gynecology residency at the University of Miami/ Jackson Memorial Hospital, where she was recognized for her academic accomplishments. She subsequently finished her Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility fellowship studies at the University of California, Los Angeles.
