Dr. Nejat is a professional fertility specialist and reproductive endocrinologist who places a high value on the doctor-patient relationship. He claims that, in addition to having excellent clinical abilities, spending enough time with his patients, being available to answer their questions, and having empathy are all essential components of delivering best-in-class medical care. Normal cycle IVF, moderate stimulation IVF, unexplained infertility, reduced ovarian reserve, oocyte cryopreservation, and oocyte donor/recipient cycles are several of his scientific interests.
He has won several awards and has contributed to scientific journals such as The New England Journal of Medicine Human Reproduction, Fertility and Sterility, and The Journal of Clinical Oncology in the area of reproductive endocrinology and infertility. He has given talks at national and international academic conferences, and his research has been covered by the BBC, The Telegraph, Medscape, Pregnancy.org, and IVF.net, among others.
Dr. Nejat has spent the bulk of his professional and academic life in New York City. He earned a bachelor's degree in biology from New York University's College of Arts and Sciences, a medical degree from Weill Cornell Medical College, and a master's degree in business administration from Cornell University's Johnson School of Management.
