Doctor Bio

Dr. Wheeler combines a deep passion for delivering patient-centered treatment with outstanding clinical education and experience. She studied medicine at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, after completing her undergraduate studies at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in Cambridge, Massachusetts. Dr. Wheeler completed her internship in Reproductive Endocrinology at Wayne State University/Detroit Medical Center and her fellowship in Reproductive Endocrinology at Abington Memorial Hospital in Abington, Pennsylvania.
Her research focuses on improving IVF outcomes as well as donor egg cycles. She has won several awards and distinctions over the years, including the AAGL Recognition of Excellence in Minimally Invasive Gynecology and the Society of Reproductive Investigation's President's Presenter Award. She has been a guest speaker at numerous seminars and gatherings, and she has co-authored many medical publications with an emphasis on the role of the endometrium in effective implantation. Dr. Wheeler is a member of the Pacific Coast Reproductive Society and the American Society for Reproductive Medicine.
Dr. Wheeler grew up in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, and has continued to enjoy outdoor activities, especially running with her golden retriever, since moving to Michigan in 2016.
