Doctor Bio

Dr. Leah Bressler grew up in the small town of Clinton, North Carolina. She attended UNC Chapel Hill as a Morehead scholar after graduating from the North Carolina School of Science and Mathematics. She went on to Harvard Medical School, where she won the Joseph B. Martin Leadership and Public Service Scholar awards and earned her MD. She moved to Chicago after earning her Master's in Public Health from Harvard to complete her Obstetrics and Gynecology training at Northwestern University, where she was also the chief resident of education. Dr. Bressler then moved to North Carolina to complete a fellowship in reproductive endocrinology and infertility at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She is very excited to return to UNC as an attending physician after completing her training.
Dr. Bressler is a member of the ACOG, ASRM, and the Society for Reproductive Investigation. Since 2012, she has presented studies at major REI academic meetings and has first author publications in the top REI journals: Human Reproduction, Fertility & Sterility, Obstetrics & Gynecology, and the American Journal of Obstetrics & Gynecology.
