Doctor Bio

Even as a young girl, I always wanted to be a doctor. After college, I moved from Chicago to California for medical school. A rotation on the Stanford IVF service inspired me to go into OB/GYN. After finishing my residency, I completed a fellowship in reproductive endocrinology and infertility at UCSF. I then went back to Stanford, where my interest in fertility preservation for cancer survivors led me to set up one of the first oocyte cryopreservation programs in the US. As the Director of Women's Health and the REI Fellowship Director, I was involved in a number of research and educational activities. Currently, I am Professor Emerita and the Chief Medical Officer of Kindbody.
