Doctor Bio
Dr. Mary Peavey grew up in Austin, Texas, and went to Duke University for college. She returned to North Carolina after earning her MD from the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School, where she completed her OB/GYN residency at Duke University Medical Center. Following her fellowship in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility at Baylor College of Medicine, she began her career as a reproductive endocrinologist and infertility specialist. Dr. Peavey was looking forward to returning to UNC Fertility.
Dr. Peavey holds dual board certifications in Obstetrics and Gynecology as well as Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility. She belongs to the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (ACOG), the American Society of Reproductive Medicine (ASRM), and the Society for the Study of Reproduction (SSR). She has a long list of publications in the fields of reproductive endocrinology and infertility, as well as various distinctions and awards.
