    Doctor Bio

    Dr. Melissa M. Yates attended Los Alamitos High School and the Orange County High School of the Arts and grew up in Orange County. She went on to earn a Distinction in Summa Cum Laude from Boston University in 1998. She continued on to Penn State College of Medicine, where she graduated in 2003, after returning to Southern California for a year. She was a founding member of Lion Care, a health care clinic for the homeless, while at Penn State. Dr. Yates served on the Penn State College of Medicine Alumni Board for two terms after graduation.
    At The Johns Hopkins Hospital, Dr. Yates completed her Obstetrics and Gynecology residency as well as her Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility Fellowship. Throughout her training, she got numerous medals for outstanding performance.
