    Doctor Bio

Dr. Terri L. Woodard is an Assistant Professor in Baylor College of Medicine's Division of Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility and MD Anderson Cancer Center's Department of Gynecologic Oncology and Reproductive Medicine. She has a particular interest in fertility maintenance for reproductive age individuals diagnosed with cancer as a reproductive endocrinologist and infertility specialist. She provides fertility therapy before cancer care, as well as extensive fertility protection and family-building programs to men and women whose reproductive capacity has been affected by cancer or its treatment.
She was a National Institutes of Health (NIH) Women's Reproductive Health Research Scholar prior to her fellowship training at Wayne State University School of Medicine and Detroit Medical Center. Dr. Woodard researched physiologic tests of female sexual function during this period. Her latest research focuses on how ovarian reserve measures change as a result of cancer care, as well as the psychosocial dimensions of oncofertility, such as how people make choices about potential parenthood options. She has received the Duncan Family Institute Seed Funding Award as well as the NCCN Young Investigator Award.
Dr. Woodard is a member of the American Society for Reproductive Medicine and a fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (ASRM). She was formerly the Chair of the ASRM's Sexuality Special Interest Group.
